Nice shot, I was going to book this tour, but it looked like it might have got a tad boring, plus I wouldnt have got back to Dover until about 1am!

Yeah, I agree there, plus, 67 haulage would be boring after about 10 minutes anyway! If it had of been a bit shorter, or with other traction, I would have done it.

I was on this tour from KX and back, 67 haulage isn't boring, I enjoyed it but thats my opinion. I'll admit the ECML was boring after Hitchin as usual, Newcastle area was brilliant!
Hopefully upload a video of it on youtube sometime.

What was the delay on the return trip? You were about half an hour late passing me and that was just 5 minutes from Newcastle. It had just started to rain and I was about to give up

What made me go on this especially was the track, UKRT are good at using a 67 on routes i need, mileage and because its a 67 its damn cheap 
We were 30 odd mins late on the way back due to some 'operation error' its all they said, but by Peterborough and before that, we were only 2 mins late!
The blythe and Tyne route was good except for some random chavs walking on the track right next to the train, the driver didnt even blast the horn or stop :?
Its obvious they knew it was a disused line so to speak and didn't expect a couple of skips to turn up!

That's a common occurrence on those lines. There are so few trains running up there and there are some areas where footpaths run alongside unfenced, so a lot of people use the line for short cuts.

We have the same problem on the East Kent Railway. There are always people walking up and back..... and setting off fireworks in out tunnel
