After filling in an online Delay Repay form for my journey in November that made me arrive 31 minutes late into Bradford Interchange I was pleasantly surprised to see that East Coast have refunded me back 50% off the ticket price.

Oddly I haven't had any confirmation via e-mail or in the post but it was painless so I am still impressed.

Shame that Southeastern don't make it that easy...I did threaten to report them to advertising standards because they advertise that claiming delay repay is easy and hassle free.....I've yet to have a hassle free claim as they always want more information, bank statements, oyster card statements, pound of flesh.......

Well done East Coast though :)

That's right isn't it? Do you mean 50% refund of a return ticket?

The refunded me the correct amount..I was just amazed how easy it was. I've never had to claim delay repay from any other TOC apart from Southeastern who make it as difficult as possible to obtain it :)
