East Coast 91117 Smoking at Newcastle

Apparently 91117 was smoking coming in and out of Newcastle station going south, the train later stopped on the slow line at Tyne Yard with EC staff on the trackside looking at it, anyone know what was up?

Did no one tell you? It's the new hybrid 91's, as Voyagers were not given the go ahead Directly Operated Railway's diceded to fit the 91's out instead...Or have I been dreaming again?!

Strangely enough, yes i think you have been dreaming!

It was dragged from Heaton to Bounds Green this morning by 67024. According to a (unverified) report I saw on a gen group, it was noted to have a leaking damper at Newcastle but I'm not sure if that was related to the smoke or not.
