EA Rail Simulator Not Loading?

Just received EA Rail Simulator and i've installed it and I tried to run the game but I get this error message each time "Rail Sim Launcher Application Has Stopped Working".

Any idea what went wrong?

My netbook meets the specs to run the game.

I'd double check you have the up to date version of directx installed along with video and sound card drivers. Uninstall the game, shut windows down completely and restart, reinstall.

If you get any more detailed errors, post them here. They're helpful in locating the source of the problem.
