E320 production

Have these gone into production yet? I heard there were angry voices in France over the German manufactures, has this posponed the production?
Further to that is there any word on a start date for them?

No they haven't started yet. The e320 is not the same as the standard Velaro on which it is based. There are key differences.

Being the obvious one, but there are many more details that separate them due to specific customer requirements and Channel Tunnel and NR use.
