LOROL services are class 9 too, no idea why. Maybe Boris has aspirations to run to Paris Nord.

I believe LOROL use Class 9 headcodes instead of Class 2 headcodes to prevent confusion to Signallers as to which service it is, for example a Lorol service from Dalston Junction to West Croydon (9Cxx) prevented from being confused for a Southern service from London Bridge to Horsham (2Cxx) both of which run via New Cross Gate and Norwood Junction.
