Due to the major disruption to Dutch rail services today (which of course weather related disruption only happens in the UK according to the Daily Mail!), I'm heading home with Stena Line. I'm using a SailRail from Hook of Holland to "Any Greater Anglia Station".

Is break of journey allowed, as I quite fancy using it as a convenient excuse to tick off the new station at Beaulieu Park on the way into London? Not planning to leave the station, but obviously wouldn't be arriving at Liverpool Street on one of the usual trains used by SailRail pax.

Also, I haven't printed it on account of the fact I booked it on the concourse at Rotterdam Centraal. The outbound one said to print it for use on UK trains but this one doesn't. I assume a) there's either GA staff on here who will know what the craic is, and/or b) someone who's done similar before?

I travelled out from Romford, told the gateline staff I was going to Holland with the printout in hand and they happily just waved me through no problem.

I’ve used one previously for a mid afternoon walk (pub crawl) round Chelmsford previously without issue.

The Google translation of the terms and conditions at
https://booking.stenaline.nl/engeland/ferry-en-trein-londen/voorwaarden says:

Travel Documents
Make sure you have a copy of your e-ticket with you before you start your trip. The e-ticket is a valid travel document for your train journey on Greater Anglia train services in the United Kingdom and for your Stena Line crossing.

[snip]

Transportation:
Please note: Your ticket is only valid on Greater Anglia trains. For journeys operated by other (private) companies, you must purchase a separate ticket.

The transportation of passengers, their luggage, and accompanying vehicles is in accordance with the terms, regulations, and conditions of the companies involved (Stena Line and Greater Anglia) and the owners of the vehicles used for the transportation. These are available for inspection at the offices of the respective transport companies.

Re break of journey - there's nothing to suggest it's not allowed. I stopped off at Manningtree last month for a few hours to take a stroll round Dedham Vale - staff on the train and at Liverpool street had no issues.
