Dutch Flyer - Any tips?

Hey all,

So I'm booking a very last minute trip to amsterdam and I've heard that Dutch Flyer overnight on a ferry is a decent and overall pretty cheap way to get there, but I had a play around on the website ordering the tickets and it comes up to £100 per person BEFORE adding the cabin on.

Just me, or is this a little expensive? Or am I missing something?

Last minute on the night sailings will not be so cheap. Booking in advance on the day sailings is the cheapest way to do it, although you need to take a good book - the day sailings are a little tedious. The link below from the Greater Anglia website explains the fares structure.

Last year I booked 2 weeks in advance and got an external cabin (sleeping 5) on my own for £80 one-way.
