I was going there twice daily until about a month ago.

Love Durham station although tend to travel through it rather than start/end journeys though. My grandad used to take me there and we would buy platform tickets and watch the trains go through. Also used to go and sit in the park above and watch the trains from high up in the castle

Unfortunately not now, though visited regularly with and without a selection of our children for many years when their grandparents lived in Durham. They (and I) used to enjoy the variety compared with our local station!

My wife uses Durham once a month for ecclesiastical meetings at present, travelling from Manchester Airport on the First TPE train to Newcastle.

I'm a student at Durham Uni, so use it all the time to get home (Across the pennines), or else to Newcastle/Metrocentre/Edinburgh.
