Durham Delays 23/03/15

Travelling East to West today but there is all sorts of chaos with delays and cancellations due to a 'trespass incident' at Durham.

Anyone know any more about exactly what the problem is?

Apparently a man detained under the Mental Health Act after being on the tracks at Durham station. Total shut down of services using this part of ECML from circa 11.40am. Northbound trains held at York were cleared to resume their journeys from about 1.15pm - seems a long time taken to detain one person but no doubt the circumstances will become more clear in due course.
