Dundee West - last train

I believe the last train from this station was the 8pm to Glasgow Buchanan St (on Saturday 1st May 1965), but does anyone know any more details? Was the identity of the loco recorded?

Likewise, what was the last service to arrive? I dont have access to a 1965 timetable, so cant be sure, but I do have in previous years a 18.10 from Glasgow Buchanan Street beign the last departure from there - would there have been a later local from Perth?

I don't have 1965, but in 1962 the last train of the day from Dundee West was the 8pm to Glasgow Buchanan Street.

The 18.10 from Buchanan Street dropped back to 18.15 by 1963, arriving at Dundee West at 20.20.

The last departure remained at 20.00.

The two later locals ran to Dundee Tay Bridge. The first one was a through train to Arbroath.

Dundee West was closed on Sundays by this stage. There were no local trains via Errol on Sundays.
