I have just purchased a Saver return ticket on thetrainline for GQS-Dundee. I have seat reservations on both portions of the ticket. I am also using my YP railcard. Can i just ask a few questions:

1) Do I have to travel on the return service with the seat reservation?
2) If not, can I return via Edinburgh should it be more convenient?

Thanks in advance;

Chris

"An information card giving ticket validity details should be given out with each Saver ticket."

GLC/GLQ - DEE SVR has restriction 8F

"Available as listed below Mondays to Fridays (by any train on Saturday and Sunday)

Outward Travel
Valid by any train timed to depart after 0915

Return Travel
Valid by any train timed to depart after 0915"

2) If not, can I return via Edinburgh should it be more convenient?
You can use any permitted route. Without checking, I am pretty sure this would be valid! (you can check at www.atoc.org > RSP > Routeing Guide).

Thanks, Yorkie. I'm taking the 0941 up, so that's not a problem. I was just checking that a return via Edinburgh wouldn't incur some extra charge.

EDIT: Yes, I've found a valid route via EDB (Map FC if anyone wants to know).
