Just been to this Scotrail Station for the first time today - quite a nice Station in fairly good condition.

Also I noticed you can park "inside" the Station virtually next to the Platform which is a rarity these days.

How many other Stations can you still "park inside" under cover ?

I might be wrong but Stranraer Harbour? I've certainly seen motorbikes in the little tunnel thing.

Glasgow central until a few years back would have been an obvious answer

I have to say for0the level of service im surprised how long its manning hours are.

It's not just station staff though. There is a lot of on train staff also based at Perth. It is also a stabling point for many Inverness, Haymarket and Eastfield units, which will be cleaned internally and externally, refuelled and minor maintenance needng done (there was rumours of a pit being built, not sure if this happened?), so I imagine associated staff will be around most hours of the day. I often get the 2015 from Inverness and change at Perth and there are usually a few units around queueing to get into the old carriage sidings.

Until the timetable was improved I always thought Perth must have had nearly as many staff around as passengers some days.

Bath Green Park. But admittedly only if you are using Sainsbury's.
