Morning everyone,

I have an Anytime Day Single from Dumbarton Central to Glasgow Central, routed Any Permitted.

Is it permitted to instead use a direct train to Glasgow Queen Street, and walk to Central from there?

As far as I can see there are no fares from Dumbarton Central to (specifically) Glasgow Central: they are all issued to GLASGOW CEN/QST and, as such, can be used to travel to either station.

Why do you think your ticket is only to Glasgow Central?

Yes this is permitted, you can travel:

To Central changing at Hyndland or Partick
To Queen St direct
To Queen St changing at Anniesland

If the times worked, I would probably get one of the West Highland Line 156 services in, much quicker and a chance to run fast through all the suburban stations.

It was issued as part of the following itinerary:

That itinerary doesn't alter the validity of the ticket on other trains, or on the same train from Fort William through to Queen Street.
