Excuse my somewhat "quirky" sense of humour, but when I saw the title of your thread, I thought that another Scottish station similar to Conon Bridge was about to be opened soon, as Duff is a well known word north of the Border...

I have heard of someone wanting to go from Sligachan to Corrour who used the Scottish Citylink 915 service to Spean Bridge, but then had to make the onward journey from there to Corrour by rail.

I'm not sure what is your point. Does the website not exist, or is the phone number unobtainable? Or is the station not on a bus route?

Corrour is about ten miles from the nearest road- other than trains, the only other motorised surface access is by off-road vehicles. Other similarly inaccessible stations such as Berney Arms are noted as such

There must be an adjacent heli-pad at which the car was dropped - more seriously, a look at a map shows a track to the station, no more.

It was significant that although the place is remaote from any road, due to its popularity with walkers, its station useage figures (before 'normailsation') showed a difference of about 1000 more exits than entrances) over the year.

The station information on NRE is a bit of a mess with ticket offices at unstaffed stations and for example big green ticks next to ticket office and penalty fares at Redcar British Steel, but with notes saying Mon - Fri closed, although there apparently is a lost property office and that penalty fares do not apply.

I can only assume that the pro forma used to collect the information from the TOC's bears little resemblance to the final output format.

There is a private road to the youth hostel and station at Corrour from the hunting lodge, it was built around 1910, before this guests arriving would have to ride by carriage to Loch Ossian and cross by boat to the lodge. This road was later extended in the 1960s by the Forestry commission to the A86, approximately 10 miles north of the Hunting Lodge.
