Dualling Coventry to Leamington

I've heard that this is supposed to be a massive challenge, but I've been looking at the route on google satellite view, and while there are some tight spots on either end, I haven't seen any place where it looks like you'd have to knock down any houses, although you'd have to squeeze some backyards.

Of course, I'm not an engineer, so there's likely something I'm missing. Anyone can enlighten me?

I believe that the bridge over the A46 was only built to accommodate one track so it'd need to be rebuilt or widened in order to fit two.

That and the fact it was never double between Kenilworth and Gibbet Hill, the doubling would only be Kenilworth to Milverton anyway.

The section of a couple of miles that was only ever single track (north of Kenilworth) has some difficult stretches (rock cuttings and viaduct) which will be expensive.
