I got a reply today also, for Monday 14th at Carlisle.![]()

I'm in Nottingham, I ticked the willing to relocate box.
I'm working away and not home till Sunday evening so if I have been invited on 14th ill not have much time to prepare. Has anyone had an email either way yet?
I got a reply today - you can add Wed 16th to the list of dates City Signaller![]()
Yeah, you're right. My mistake. Wednesday 16th it is.Unless they are running two assessment days it's the 17th, the 14th quoted by a poster earlier is the date you have to confirm your attendance by on my letter
Still nothing...Maybe tomorrow...
I hope so
My post code is 45 minutes from Crewe, I think my application was ok, I will see: "hope dies last"

Lol. Hope springs eternal. I dare say there will be many in the same boat, as I am. I think they may have quite a pool to get through though. I'd give it another week before abandoning hope. They left he application open for the full amount of time, so I think they will have a hatful of physical applications to go through. Fingers crossed for us all.

Out of sheer curiosity I have just rang them to ask when we would hear if we were successful or not. The girl I spoke to said they have had over 500 applications and it is taking them a long time to process them and carry out the sift. She said that letters have started to go out, but will continue to do so. She didn't give me a definitive timescale, but it sounds like it could take a few weeks to go through them all, (especially with Easter and kids off). She did say to ring them back in a couple of weeks if I still hadn't heard anything.
We should have some sort of discreet way of identifying ourselves as members of this forum when we turn up at the assessment days, I believe once upon a time a certain handshake got you places
By the way: Good luck to everyone who is invited for the assessment next week and after!!!
Thanks kitwaller!
Out of curiosity those of you who have been invited to an assessment what scores are you getting on the SCAAT?
I'm typically getting approx 1300 cells with about 4 omissions, no idea if this is in the ball park:-?

I'll be wearing a suit and tie. I thought it was for the best last time and felt vindicated when a couple of managers introduced themselves and wished us all the best. To be fair there were a lot there in t shirts and jeans and I guess it is your scores that really matter but no doubt drs will expect you to look your best if your successful so why not start as you mean to go on.
I assume we will hear after around a week.
