DRS Open Day 19th July

Hi Guys,

DRS Open day..... booked me tickets from Stow to Crewe, but just wondered how one gets from Crewe station to the Crewe Depot?

any ideas?

I believe it's about a 20 minute walk. Looking at the map here it looks like it you come out of the station, turn left and then left again.

Walking was my plan too.

Just need to decide if/when to get a look at a working 68 arriving/departing on the railtour from Eastleigh (as I live in GA land, it's not sensible to travel on it myself to get to Crewe).

And my plan. Mine is a whole day of it so I am doing the Basford hall tour as well, which I have done before. My plan is to go on the 08:42 from Coventry.

About every 6 weeks a tour around Basford Hall yard is organised for people wanting to go and see the trains and stuff. You need a high visibility jacket and safe boots. It is ran by Freightmaster Interactive so all of the details are on there.
