At Euston about 0900 was a DRS Class 37 with three "Network Rail Yellow" Mk1 carriages (I think)
Sat just outside platforms 12-13.
Any idea what it was ?

Probably a test train. These are commonly worked by DRS 37s or Network Rail 31s.

Was still there when I left on the 1146 to Crewe. Looked like MK 2s with a DBSO to me.

I think I saw that going past me on track today. Was heading North from Euston. Had a few Mk 1 coaches, a NR Yellow coach and a diamond jubilee class 67?

There was similar at Clapham Junction this morning, though I can't see the train would have got to Euston by 9 so I guess it was a different set.

edit: Oh hang on, this was yesterday.
