I have an interview with the drivers managers anytime soon. Can anyone shed any light as to how these interviews are conducted and what can I expect during the interview?

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations. I can't provide any advice as I haven't been yet myself, still waiting. Did you recently complete your assessments? Mine was in Dec, and was told to wait for interview times to be sent out. Good Luck.

Congratulations to you both, I passed mine in jan and received an email saying have to wait for an email but it also mentioned a talent pool and 2014/2015 ongoing recruitment drive, did you both get the same email ?

I'd appreciate an answer to this too. I had my assessments in Manchester back in December and today received an invite to an interview the week after next. I've been asked to prepare a ten minute presentation, but I'm wondering about the rest of the interview. Is this the 'structured' interview I've read about?

Thanks :)

I did get the message about being placed in a talent pool - but a presentation? That's new, and 10 mins is a long time when you are doing a presentation!

No, I've not had a letter re: talent pool. Today's interview invite was the only contact I've had since the assessments.

10 minutes a long time? I was thinking it wasn't long enough lol

Completed my assessment in December and had an email just before xmas saying I had successfully passed and would need to come back for a interview. No date has been set as LM still have assessments running into February. I assume LM want to complete these 1st before arranging interview dates.
It can't be long now...I hope!
Not heard anything about a talent pool or a presentation.

Correction...just checked my email and it does say they are recruiting for a talent pool for 2014/15.
Good luck to all that are awaiting the next stage.

Mine at the end of November said-
Thank you for your recent attendance at our assessment for the Trainee Train Driver role. We are pleased to confirm that you have successfully passed your in-house assessments.

The next stage of the recruitment process is to attend an interview with a Driver Manager. Interview dates will be arranged over the upcoming months.

Please be aware that this campaign is to develop a talent pool of candidates for 2014-2015 and on-going. We will contact you as and when interview dates are confirmed.

We ask that you check your e-mail on a regular basis so that you have the opportunity to book yourself into a date and time that best suits your schedule.

Following the interview, if successful, we will ask you to attend the final assessments being the Vienna Test System, Situational Judgement Exercise and Multi-Modal Interview at a later date.

Again, we congratulate you on being successful to this stage and will contact you at once interview dates are confirmed.

So it seems the idea the whole recruitment was for a talent pool for the next 2 years +, so everybody will be in the same boat

I got the same. Since taken the assessments with Greater Anglia and got the Manager's interview which is thankfully the last stage of the assessment short of a medical etc! Not heard anything since December when I did my assessments.
