Drivers door open while train moving

I noticed one with both doors open other day , was in City Centre so low speeds.

The seat belt retains them within the vehicle just as in a milk float. Indeed, they are rather like giant milk floats for parcels, really.

And you see these UPS vans with sliding doors going around which look very unsafe. But if they were actually unsafe, they wouldn't be doing it.

The local UPS guy, who has had the job for many years, drives his truck like a loon and nearly always has the door open on warm days (and never a belt).

He's still alive though, so I assume he hasn't fallen out. However his driving and parking makes me wonder how he's avoided having a nasty accident!

Surely by the time the cab got to that heat the driver would have, quite rightly, failed the train?
