Should be having my structured interview in January, have already filled in the question paper so looking for what kind of 'punch' words I need to be looking for to tick the boxes? I'm thinking safety, concentration, working alone, pressure......

Any ideas or anyone just had feedback from the S/interview would be ideal :)

I have copied my questions and answers to review :)

Many thanks for any help..

Think mine will be part of the 2nd assessment centre tomorrow. No idea what to expect. Can anyone suggest? I've been researching the company in a bit more detail than for the 1st interview, but do we need to know about rolling stock / technical stuff?

If this is the structured interview (CBI) as part of the psychometric tests, before the interview you have 25 minutes to briefly write down the answers to 5 questions, a couple I can remember are along the lines of - Give an example of where you solved a problem, give an example of when you dealt with an emergency situation etc.

You are then grilled for around an hour on your answers, so you need to answer them in extreme detail, if you try and make up some answers you will struggle as this interview is not a final end of test formality, it is a crucial part and people do fall at the last hurdle.

If you go on the RGS online rule book site and search for the RIS 3751 document, about page 13, it tells you the qualities they are looking for and what you have to demonstrate in the interview.

On this interview you will not be asked anything about the company, you will only be asked about the answers you give to the 5 questions.
