Bit of a vague question, but can anyone shed any light on (apart from the obvious) where they advertise, how often jobs come up, salary, type of work, etc etc.

Often see them but wondering how you get into it.

I wonder what " competitive salary " means .

Colas IM freight do all the year trains, they are separate from us on the freight side but similar contacts. I believe they get a lodging
allowance but not sure. The t&C's are about to be improved and we've just had a 5.5% raise making the salary around £61,600

I heard from them yesterday, they are holding interviews for this role over the next couple of weeks.

No, in two minds. Doesn't seem to benefit me other than more traction and route variety.
