No, you can fail this an unlimited amount of times, and still be able to reapply
Not to be confused with the Structured Interview
Yes you'd only have Driver Manager Interview / Medical to do in most cases
Could anyone enlighten as to where I stand me with regards to my unsuccessful trainee train driver managers interview with Southern. As I understand, after passing your GB, reaction and paper based test you normally then have a CB interview? Then, is successful you then attend a managers interview and medical? However, my interview with Southern was the other way round and I had the managers interview first of which I was told was not part of the assessment. Any ideas where this leaves me as Southern are being tight with information as to any feedback.
Mine was the sam. I had my managers interview then had the assessment related interview and medical on the same day.
I would ask for feed back, who did you interview.

Beveridges, might be a bit of a stupid question (apologies) but having passed assessment & S.I. what factors would contribute to someone 'failing' the manager's interview (other than being a complete dick in the interview)? Read elsewhere that the S.I. is by far the hardest part of the process so interested to hear how someone might fall at this last hurdle.
Many thanks.
You'll get asked what you know about the company, why you want the job, what do you know about the role etc so failure to do your homework on your TOC will count against you.
You'll get questioned on your past work history and asked competency questions, you need to be able to answer these really well and give good examples.
And finally the DTM needs to like you, they have a big work load already, so won't put anybody through they think might cause them trouble, be personable and wear a suit![]()

Cheers for that, Evoluzione. Wow! Seems there still a great deal that can go wrong. Better get on with the homeworkhock:
