Hello all,
Looking for some advice. I am currently a guard for a Toc and have just passed my drivers assessments and due a medical shortly. My eyesight uncorrected isn't great but I have always passed safety critical medicals so my questions is, are drivers medicals in relation to eyesight at a different level to say a guard or dispatcher?
Thanks

Its best to get tested out before the medical at any opticians, that way if you do need glasses you'll have them and take them along with the prescription to the medical, imagine going to a medical and failing on eyesight then missing out on the course they had you penciled in for then having to wait until the next course. Drivers and guards medical for eyesight is different.

I already wear glasses at all times, more the uncorrected vision I was worried about. Yeah think I will get then checked beforehand just to be on the safe side. Would be gutted to fall at the final hurdle.
