With the sun shining, I could think of no better way to spend a 2 hour fester at York than down by the river. Clearly I'm turning into a kettle photographer - http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p64173995.html shows 6233 departing York momentarily distracting members of the York City Rowing Club from their endeavours!

About an hour later, 47804 departed York also bound for Scarborough - seen here from a closer vantage point. http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p64173996.html

How come 6233 has a new livery and i thought its mainline duties were finished for a while at the end of last year as it's boiler ticket had expired.
