Doubling back via Dorking Deepdene now allowed?

In light of the catastrophic reduction in services from Gomshall to Guildford in the morning peak (from three services before 9 AM to just one), the journey planner suggests going via Dorking Deepdene i.e doubling back. http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/GOM/GLD/tomorrow/0630/dep
Has this always been the case? I can't remember. The routeing guide easements have been updated today but there is no mention of this.

Most booking engines agree this is valid (except the Worldline WebTIS sites don't.. but then the Worldline implementation of the Routeing Guide is riddled with errors, many of which work in the passengers favour), but it's not due to an easement.

I guess it was 'always' valid (as in, since the electronic routeing guide has existed) in a routeing sense, but of course if the trains previously called at Gomshall then it would not have previously cropped up.

From yesterday the stops at the stations between Dorking and Guildford were restored in a 06xx train - the 0630 from Redhill moved earlier to 0619.

Nothing can be done about the 0833 from Redhill moving to 0851.
