Looks like a finger/thumb smudge on the lens. I've unfortunately fallen foul of not cleaning the lens too on occasion!

its a bit worse than that, some how the inner and outer lens had touched each other and i think thats a bit of damage, ruins pictures a bit

its had a hard life in all weathers but still works like a champ, might have to replace it tho
