As far as this topic goes, I make my opinions based on logic, common sense and experience with train crew. I dont base them on a "he said, she said" basses which you apparantly do.

By virtue of the nature of this forum and the railway industry we probably wont find out what happened for certain, however that doesnt mean I'm going to take the OPs post for gospel truth.

I am not making things up - it was snowing, so therefore it was cold.

I only have the 'he said, she said' information to base my opinion on. That is all anyone on this forum has.

When have I said I am taking the OPs post for the gospel truth? This is a discussion forum, not a court of law!

Yes the crew would be held responsible.

Well I just googled it, and could find nothing, so since you have left it to me, we can therefore agree that it didn't happen, unless someone here is better at googling than me.
