Hi all,

Short notice I know, but can anyone find me a deal cheaper than the standard £32ish for a 16-25 railcard day return from Doncaster to Telford on Saturday?

I need to be in Telford by 12:30 and leave after 17:30.

Haven't checked advances, but splitting at Sheffield/Derby/Stoke, you could get returns for a total of £23.60 with a railcard.

Leaving Doncaster at 07:52, changing at Derby/Stoke/Wolverhampton gets you there at 11:59. Return, leave Telford at 18:15, arrive Doncaster 22:03 with an additional change at Sheffield.

Depends whether the longer journey time is worth the saving to you.

Try looking up Donny-Goostrey or Cheadle Hulme - Telford if you want a laugh! Although the general public who don't know how to find the best deal won't be laughing - they'll be getting their car out of the garage and ditching the train.
