We have issues with our strike in points, and more importantly how the interlocking handles stopping and non stopping trains. But on the overall our OD crossings are behaving

They will be monitoring them, just to make sure they are working correctly, I bet they monitor them for quite a few months. He will be a brave man who signs them off as fit for purpose and use as planned.
Just think of the cost to train delays on East Coast mainline if they don,t work as planned?
Lets wait and see how successful they are and if they save the cost of the money as against employing staff to man them.
