I often travel on trains with my dog who is always well behaved. Sometimes we travel 1st class. I know the rules from conditions of carriage about dogs on trains. I also know where dogs are allowed on sleepers, ie only in the berth if you've paid for them and not in the lounge car.
Does anyone know the rules on dogs in 1st class lounges and other places in stations? I've been allowed with my dog into the 1st class lounges at Kings Cross, Euston and Leeds, but apparently dogs aren't allowed into the lounge at Darlington! Also, are there any other public areas in stations where dogs are not allowed? In general they seem to not be allowed into buffets and pubs on stations, but it seems to be inconsistent.
