Does LNER usually switch trains?

I want to ride an Intercity 225 but I am scared after buying the ticket, LNER might switch it for an Azuma as I am also traveling with my parents since Azuma seats are also quite uncomfortable. I hope you can answer me I want to ease my worries so I can book it or just forget about it.

They might, but it's not common.

Short notice alterations and cancellations can happen at any time, but if you say the journey you wish to make and what date, people can advise on the likelihood accordingly.
