Looks like you may be correct. Seems.a strange way to go about it though! If I wanted a diesel, there's people I would go to, before I approached a liquidated stock buyer for help.
If one of the DB locos does have a brighter future, I am sure all will be revealed in time.

I don't think Pacers have ever been in good working order.
They're quite clearly not a specialist in obtaining rolling stock if they have to ask around the internet!

yes, after i put my last comment I reviewed and thought again. I also thought that at some point someone may pick up on the fact i have a 47 in my avatar whilst im mostly EE, i have a soft spot for the 47.

If you want to purchase a Locomotive then contact EMR (European Metal Recycling). I know they have 37 675,37670,37707,37709,37886,37895,37898 at Kingsbury. How about asking for a Class 56 instead. DBS and Scrap Sites have many examples. I wish I could buy a locomotive so it could be used as a garden feature. Wouldn't really have anywhere to put it though.

Ahh I understand! A locomotive certainly would be a pretty distinctive feature to have in your back garden or even your front, though I'm not sure the neighbours would approve

I only have £1 as I spent my pocket money on my magazine so I can't afford it. It would take for ever to save up for a loco by the time I have the money they will be scrapping the 66s and 67s.

You know DRS have bought them and are going to collect them soon, just there at so many depots.
DBS will hire 37s from DRS when they need them thats obviously why they haven't sold them for scrap.
