Only Enterprise episodes that really stand out are the World War Two ones the the First Contact sequel. Although, I do love the characters. T'Pol in particular had some interesting development.
I liked the ones that tapped into the the original series, like the one which explained the different look of the Klingons, and the one with the scantily clad green women (ahem). They made the series feel far more like 'proper' Star Trek than some random sci fi show.
As an aside. I'm sure I had an alien encounter in 1999. I think there was also a conspiracy to cover it up. Here's the story:
I went to my local on a Sunday evening for my usual binge drinking session and lock in (I did this whenever I was on lates ona Monday, or had a rest day). After twelve pints of Flowers Original I left the pub at about 0200, and started to stagger home.
I felt a little tired and unsteady along the way, and paused in a bus shelter for a quick rest. The world started spinning, as though I'd been hit by some sort of alien ray, and I could see starnge lights passing before my eyes.
The next thing I knew, it was 0530, and I had a blinding headache, my wallet was missing, and I had a raging thirst. What had happened during those lost three hours? I reckon I was abducted, the aliens took my wallet for tests, and subjected me to scientific experimetns which caused my headache and dry mouth.
I reported this to the landlord of the boozer the next time I was there, and mysteriously, within a few months, the pub company had sold the premises to a property developer and it had been demolished to make way for luxury apartments. Clearly, the authorities did not want news of my experience passed around the pub, and took steps to ensure this could not happen.
I'm a bit worried about revealing this incident here, even though it's twelve years on. The security services may be monitoring this forum, and want to silence me...
