Do trains stop at every scheduled station call?

im planning to catch a train from Langley mill tomorrow and purchase the ticket on the train as there is no ticket office or machine at the station.
will the train stop if theres no tickets been booked for departure from the train station??? its only a very small station.

The train will stop if it's booked to do so in the timetable. Ticket sales won't affect where it stops or doesn't.

Yes it will, although if it's a request stop make sure you are visible on the platform as the train approaches.

thanks. so let me get this right. the train departs at 10.32 am according to the time table. if im stood there at that time regardless of a ticket it will definitely stop and I will be able to get on, purchase my ticket and get on my way?

as you can tell I very rarely travel on a train!!

Make sure you're there at least a couple of minutes before 10:32 and you should have no problem in catching the train.

The train is scheduled to stop and is not a request stop, regardless of people standing on the platform, the train will still stop if the platform is empty.

That is Northern operated train, so the guard will most likely come though selling tickets. If they don't, you should purchase one at your destination station.
