Ah damn, thanks.

The closest you can get is Preston - but you would have to go via Manchester Picc if you wanted to use exclusively TransPennine.

TransPennine run one an hour Sheffield to Piccadilly, and three an hour from Leeds. From there, you'll need to head over to Platform 14 to get a Glasgow or Edinburgh service at xx:26 every hour, to Preston.

There is a “transpennine” service in the literal sense of the word, but it’s Northern’s York-Blackpool service, not TPE. I believe TPE have only ever operated service to Manchester Airport from Blackpool.

Not sure if it was a train operating company or not, but there were "Transpennine Express" services between York and Blackpool via Hebden Bridge around 20 years ago.

This may have been a development from the Alphaline branded services of the Regional Railways division of British Rail.

This also explains how the Any Permitted fares between Preston and Hebden Bridge are set by Transpennine Express, even though the present day TOC does not operate direct trains via that route.

That was a brand within Northern Spirit.
