Do Chiltern ever take on trainee drivers?

As per thread title really.

Was just having a quick browse the Chiltern vacancies website and I see they are recruiting qualified drivers for most depots but never really see them advertise for trainees.

Are they like XC with qualified drivers only or are trainees took on occasionally?

Any help appreciated!

Ah, that must have slipped under my radar, although I wasn't really looking to make the move up last year.

Good to know they do take on trainees though, as I'm with X.C at the moment so will never get the chance.

Thanks!

There is a training school going on at this very moment. It started about four weeks ago. There might be another one next year.

Is this the course for the intake last year? Shame I missed out on that but patience and keeping an eye on things that come up is the key I guess.

They had Trainee vacancies in Banbury and Stourbridge last summer, however they seem to be a bit of a closed shop and take on a lot of qualified ones from other TOC's, relatively small TOC as well so I wouldn't have too much hope of seeing those vacancies pop up too often.
