Do any UK gateline recognize Interrail pass?

I passed through 3 gatelines today (Charing Cross, Lewisham and Blackfriars). On all of them, when scanning my Interrail pass barcode gets rejected (I think for reason 92) before getting passed on by the staff after a extremely rapid look. For curiosity, are all the UK (non-ES) gateline programmed the same in rejecting the code?

I'd recommend putting this in the fares advice and policy section as its regarding fares :)

UK gatelines do not support Interrail passes, there's no point in even scanning as no gateline will accept them.

No gates will accept them, some handheld validators are able to cope with them however.

Not Interrail, but related.

Just finished my annual Britrail pass tour and, very surprisingly, I can report that the situation with regard to gateline acceptance of Britrail passes appears to have improved dramatically. Whereas last year (2023) I would estimate my mobile pass (Aztec code in a .pdf file) opened only about 20% of gates, this year (2024) it opened over 90%.

On-train scanning acceptance has never been an issue; for many years now it has almost always scanned successfully.

My paper all lines rover has recently been accepted by a few ticket gates, but has been rejected by most.
