DLR Weekend Closures?

Are they becoming more frequent?

It may be that I just hadn't picked up on it before, but it seems that the DLR has been part closed fairly frequently at weekends over the last year or so...

Is it all to do with the new stock?

Just looking at this Saturday, another raft of closures, including Tower Gateway, again, two weekends in a row.
