Some station customer service assistant or booking office/platform staff don't work nights but a certain element of shift working follows which may mean a late or very early finish/start. After all the railway runs 24/7, but trains do stop between certain time periods.

Yes, I was unsuccessful. Someone upthread was invited to assessments though
