Hi

as you already know the DLR has automatic announcements

so that leads me to my question of what is the name of the company that made it and name of the announcers on both the train and platform?

There have been various ones over time. Some years ago there was one who was patently by sound a girl from Belfast, in local slurred accent from there, but on enquiring I was told I had the right origin but the wrong gender!

I believe the onboard announcements are a (quite good) TTS system. The station announcer voice has also been stated on this forum as being TTS but I doubt it because it flows very well and is quite expressive.
