District to Olympia

Are some of those C stock departures actually to West Ham, Plaistow and Barking via Baker Street (as at present) or have they been shortened?

I am purely talking about passenger workings here.
There are earlier (than 05.30) trips onto the MET but these run empty, as now.

What is the best route to get there now from Kings Cross - the overground does not connect with anything useful unless you use FCC from St Pancras to West Hampstead & change there.

You could get a number 10 bus all the way...

A leaflet has appeared, explaining the changes:

A slight faux-pas with the leaflet is the:

"Daily High Street Kensington to Kensington (Olympia) trains
Due to the location of a nearby depot a small number of District line train services will continue
to operate between High Street Kensington and
Kensington (Olympia), via Earl’s Court, at the
following times daily:"

Unfortunately, the first passenger train on Sundays is at 07.35 .

You could get a number 10 bus all the way...

Or Piccadilly to Knightsbridge and catch the number 9 or 10 from there. Or Circle Line to High Street Ken and catch the number 9 or 10 from there. Or Piccadilly to Earls Court then bus from there.

Thanks - though using the bus is only of use if I get the travelcard. A ticket issued through to Underground zones 1-2 is cheaper but is not valid on the buses.

It looks like I won't need to go to Olympia much now anyway. One of the events I go to regularly for work has announced it is moving to Excel next year - partly due to the cut in the weekday Olympia Dstrict Line service (also due to the costs of hiring Olympia).

Circle Line only runs direct King's Cross to High Street Kensington via Liverpool Street/Victoria.
