All lines closed somewhere south of Milton Keynes this morning. National Rail is saying "emergency services incident". Any further info? Reason for asking is that we have a some students travelling down for a seminar this morning and just wondering what to plan for.

looks like the slows are shut between Bletchley & Leighton Buzzard, trains are moving but slow and delayed as is to be expected!

*Edit (09:10) The Slows have re-opened, though lots of ECS running about so the WCML is in 'timetable recovery mode' it seems.

Fasts reopened now also. Southbound stuff that was involved is approx 80 minutes delay.

Lots of cancels from both ends. Some north bound stuff is departing 110 minutes late.
