Disruption at Liverpool Street

Does anyone know what is going on? There's constantly trains being cancelled left right and centre and trains which are running but not starting from Liverpool Street but further up the line.

Staff at the station have no idea what is going on and say they can't get hold of anyone to tell them, JourneyCheck is saying signalling issues for some, freight train for others, problem under investigation and train faults but there seems to be an information blackout.

Colleague phoned me 15 minutes ago is there and the staff are lovely but there seems to be something very wrong.

Seems to be a mix of usual GA spin. This is a favourite; "17:30 London Liverpool Street to Norwich will be reinstated. It will be started from Ipswich at 18.39. This is due to a train fault."

All these were cancelled from Liverpool Street
16:40 to Southend (Signal Failure)
17:07 to Kings Lynn (Signal Failure)
17:12 to Ipswich (Signal Failure)
17:18 to Witham (Signal Failure)
17:25 to Southend (Signal Failure)
17:30 to Norwich (Train Fault)
17:39 to Harwich (Signal Failure)
18:05 to Southend (Signal Failure)
18:10 to Norwich (Person hit by train)
18:19 to Walton on Naze (Congestion)
18:25 to Southend (Signal Failure)
18:30 to Norwich (Problem with train)

Saying that train is reinstated though is hilarious!

Colleagues say things seem to be getting back to normal now so not much use for this thread, staff seem exhausted apparently and clear that they are just as frustrated as passengers.

Seems like the diverunder at Shenfield is out of use all down Southend services seem to be using platform 3 conflicting with up services.
