Travelled from Lancaster to Leeds today and things got gummed up around Hellifield. Messaging was vague but something grim looked to have happened on the platform - police cordon and great deal of blood. Without wishing to sensationalise what must have been probably pretty awful, does anyone know what happened?

A person was discovered at Hellifield with a self inflicted injury. Traincrew gave first aid.
