Disley/Strines to Media City

Travelling from Derbyshire next Friday with my wife to watch Early Doors at Salford.
Thinking of driving to Chapel en le Frith/Disley or Strines stations to catch train to Piccadilly and tram to Media City. What is parking like at these stations?
Not sure which travel tickets to buy, we don’t have a railcard and will be travelling early afternoon to Manchester (off peak) and returning late evening.
Do Northern still offer Duo tickets, and can the tram be included.
Can the System One Ticket be bought on the train or at a Northern Vending Machine, assuming there is one at either Chapel/Disley or Strines stations?

System One daysavers are not valid to Chapel/Disley.

Is it the GM Wayfarer you're talking about (which is valid, and is probably your best ticket)?

I would refrain from travelling from Strines - while a quaint little station, the service is reduced compared to the rest of that end of the line.
