Hoping somebody might have some useful information regarding disabled railcards.
Colleague has epilepsy and bought a disabled railcard a few years ago when he couldn’t drive due to the seizures. Thankfully, after 12 months seizure free, he’s now able to drive again but wants to know if he can retain his disabled railcard.
Looking at relevant websites, it appears that he could still be eligible for the railcard. Every site we look at states if you have epilepsy and have repeated seizures whilst taking medication you qualify. He’s had seizures for over 30 years and constantly been on medication but…
…now that he has been seizure free for 12 months does this mean he should not use the railcard?
The T&Cs aren’t very clear on this and the definitions seem ambiguous.
Any thoughts very much welcomed.
