Disabled Railcard Application - Visual Impairment - CVI evidence rejected

I submitted an application for a disabled railcard. I have a visual impairment and have the CVI card (registered partially sighted). I sent images of both sides of the CVI card as evidence but this has been rejected.

Does anyone know what other evidence I am meant to submit?

I am surprised that the CVI card was rejected.

Do you have a copy of the letter/certificate of registration of visual impairment, as issued by your council rather than just the wallet-sized card? Mine is essentially a letter on council headed paper with my name and registration number.

Alternatively, the eligibility info at https://www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.uk/are-you-eligible/ suggests you can get social services to stamp the application form.

If you get DLA/PIP you can also use the award letter for that.

I have the letter, that’s a good idea cheers. If that fails I’ll try the social services stamp and update the thread.

Incidentally, I cannot upload any new images online, so I guess they expect me to send the letter via email, which seems a bit off but there you go…

I sent the images again of the registration card via email but also now sent the letter too, which was accepted.
