I cannot work this out at all, just what Intermodal services DRS run now that they have lost Malcolm Group business (even though I still see photos on Flickr of DRS operated Malcolm trains).

Given that DRS has the 68s coming and a big order nearly completed from WH Davies for the IDA wagons, I suspect they run more intermodal services than seem clear. Could some kind people either clear it up or point me to a site for further information?

Also, with losing Malcolm Group work, are the two 37/7s now not required at Daventry/Northamptonshire?

I can make out there are 4 Tesco services for Sobart Group (a 5th path exists but isn't used?)

There is one Sugarliner service for Tate and Lyle

The are a number of Russell Group services (Is it Co-Op or ASDA included in this?)

There was both Malcolm and P&O Ferrymaster but both have lost, or were not successful.

Many thanks in advance

For clarification, DRS hasn't "lost" the Malcolm traffic - it decided at the
start of the year that it no longer wanted the business because it wasn't
generating a (big enough?) profit, but has to date only been able to get rid
of the Mossend to Daventry flow (to DBS) - they have been forced to keep
running the Grangemouth to Daventry traffic because of contractual obligations;
hardly an ideal situation! :|

Not really - the 68s are (mainly) for passenger work and the IDAs were
replacements for older intermodal flats which then went off lease.

Could some kind people..clear it up...
Current DRS flows:

1. Daventry to Purfleet (connects into Coatbridge services)
2. Daventry to Coatbridge (daytime)
3. Daventry to Coatbridge (overnight)
4. Daventry to Coatbridge and Grangemouth (splits at Carlisle)
5. Grangemouth to Aberdeen

6. Daventry to Cardiff (Stobart/Tesco)
7. Daventry to Purfleet (Stobart/Tesco)
8. Daventry to Mossend (Stobart/Tesco)
9. Mossend to Inverness (Stobart/Tesco)

hope this helps,

MARK
